Excellent customer service. The rod was broken when i received it (things happen in shipping). A replacement was sent to me ASAP. Oh, and the rod is excellent.
As a rod builder and avid surf fishing angler, I really like the light build and action on this rod. I own both the 9'7 and 10'7 models. My only suggestion for improvement the next generation of this rod is to have larger guides towards the tip and of course a larger tip opening. This would avoid damaging a tip ring by accidentally by a swivel or quick clip.
My G Loomis EX6 was literally making me miss fluke. I finally gave up. I shopped a bunch of rods looking for something but never considered a Tsunami. J&H had this rod. I have literally not missed a set with the Forged 7'2" Medium Fast. I paired it with a Daiwa Back Bay Saltist 3000 and 10# Power Pro. The next morning I boated every fluke that I set. My hook sets are 10:1 better than the Loomis. Buy this rod!!!! You will be really happy you did.
