I’ve been fishing with this one from last year and it’s the best route. I ever experienced fishing with very reliable lightweight and it’s good for Lowe’s and Motor stuff.

My wife gave me saltx 11 fishing rod on my birthday but it got snapped in the rocks. I send pics and explain the situation with in one week they send me new rod. Thank you tsunami team I really appreciated.

Just can’t say enough of where Tsunami has gone over the years until now with their products. They just keep setting the bar higher and with customer service they are at the top. The saltX2 surf rod is as good as it gets compared to the market and even when mistakes happen with a rob break, Tsunami is there and puts you back in the game with their warranty dept. Great company!
Rod is easy handling and casting. It's also very sensitive when fish on.

They built this rod with great guides and an awesome reel seat. But the highlight is the layout of the guide so it cast a Country mile. I’ll give it overall a 10 out of 10.

I have 3 salt-X gen 1s, love them very whipy and cast like a dream. The gen 2 is a better blank in many ways, much stronger butt section and still casts easily compared to competitors but requires more oomph to load the mid section. At this price point you do get a hell of a lot but the way the handle components are glued up is not great. I had a reel seat start spinning loose on my 4th trip and I attribute that to the way this Fuji seat requires an inner carbon sleeve, leaving very little room for epoxy to fill between the sleeve and the inner surface of the seat. Tsunami sent me a new rod for 25 bucks shipping, which is great but beware of stressing that seat. Also my butt has come loose on the replacement rod now, it’s is a very shallow butt and I have had these break free on the gen 1 salt x’s as well, I wish tsunami would use a deeper but that could be epoxied in more effectively.
