Very nice rods sensitive yet has back bone
I own and have owned and fished rods from several brands, and this Salt X 2 is just a special rod. The features they packed into this thing for the money is hard to beat. I'm a Northeast guy, mostly using for Striper. Got the heavy model, its incredibly light and thin diameter, but plenty of backbone for 30-40 lb Stripers. It's super sensitive, can feel even the lightest bites. High quality cork, and the rubber gimbal gives me peace of mind while its in the rod holder.
Amazing rod would love to get the salt x 2 reel to finish the total experience for now I have a tsunami evict on there I bought with works but the rod is great good backbone but also light dope rod great service better people at tsunami
love these more than my carbon shield 2 well at least for finesse fishing the docks. i don't do much bait just lures. will you have more colors soon ?

This is hands down the best inshore rod period. I purchased my 7'2' medium for snooker and redfish. I can't think of a rod with better performance and action. BullBay, St Croix and Shimano don't compare

tsunami has been making some excellent gear lately. My evict is still going strong hope to try it on this new Saltx rod. I'll let you know this weekend. This rod is light hope it holds up.
This rod is by far the best rod i have from Tsunami. I loved the carbon II but this new saltx rod is lighter and feels better in my grip. Love casting this thing.
