This was the first rod I ever owned and it's still my main combo to this day after 3 years. Got the medium heavy, and this thing does it all. Everything from tons of Bass, giant catfish, pike, beach trips, I've even finessed panfish and trout with this rod. Extremely sensitive I especially love how this thing feels for jigging, I could see myself getting one purely for a jigging setup. Maybe it's just personal but this rod will always be special to me

Order a Medium fast and it has a fantastic feel in hand. Incredibly light, reminds me a lot of my ultra light set up. Paired it with a Daiwa Regal 2500. Match made in heaven. By far best bang for buck of all my set ups.

The rod broke during the first use. Tsunami quickly replaced it under warranty. The required warranty paperwork was quick, simple, and easy to complete.

A good lite tackle finesse rod for fluke fishing, but don't put too much muscle into casting - it snapped in half. It was under warranty and customer service covered it and quickly sent a new rod.

Great rod. Love the improvements that been made from the carbon shield II to the carbon shield III, one of the best values in Fishing rods out there
Haven't used it yet but this one was delivered in one piece so that's a good thing. Most of the tarpon had already moved through this area by the time I received so haven't used it but I have another that I use often and I haven't broke it on a fish yet. Fingers crossed.
The 7ft medium light is perfect for chasing trout redfish and occasional river trout bass or crappie
Doesn't handle heavier (15-16 lb) mono/flouro very well. 8-12 it casts great along with braid! I do really like the feel while working the bait.
Excellent rod to use for inshore fishing, beautiful high-quality rod for such a amazing price. Had great time using it for striper fishing. Also great customer service from Tsunami, first rod they sent me was delivered broken (Fedex's fault) and Davis from their customer support team was willing to 2 day ship me a new rod for free. Will 100% be buying from them again great products and great customer service!!

Only used the rod once so far, I didn’t get a chance to feel a fish on it yet, but it feels nice and light paired with a 2500 series reel. It should fit in well this season.
I’m impressed by the build quality considering its a “budget friendly” rod. Hiw it performs on the water will be the true test. I’ve had higher end rods fail on me, so i’m hoping this can rod can fill in nicely.
